The teen volunteer shelving workshop is held the first Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Tabby Theater. Volunteers MUST attend the workshop before they can start shelving books.

Rock and Roll Reading Pajama Storytime June 8
Rock out to Mr. Brian's Pajama Storytime. Lots of music, singing and audience participation. National Charity League will be handing out refreshments to the children afterward. Children and parents can wear their pajamas to storytime (if they want to)

Tile Painting, Engraved Book Spines and FOTCL Bookbags
Tile Painting Certificates are available for purchase. Give a great gift and help the library while doing so. Proceeds will go towards the Books for Kids campaign.
Tile Painting Gift Certificates are $50 per single tile, $80 for two tiles. Tiles, glazes and brushes are provided by the library. Have a painted tile display on a wall in the Central Library Children's Department.
The FOTCL, Friends of the Children's Library, are selling canvas bookbags for $5 each. Bags are sold at the Children's Desk at the Central Library.
Books For Kids are selling carved wooden bookspines which are being installed on a specially designed donor shelf in the entrace of the Children's Library. These spines range in price from $250 to $5,000 each and are engraved with donor names and logos if desired. Flyers about these special spines are available in the Children's Library.
